Our team is proud to announce that Paolo Albanese, P.Eng. has received the Designation of Consulting Engineer from the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).  This well-deserved recognition is the result of years of dedication in professional practice, service to our clientele and the shouldering of professional responsibilities commensurate with the designation.

We are delighted to announce that Fabian Papa has been appointed to serve on the Peer Review Committee of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Green Municipal Fund (GMF) where he will be responsible for the evaluation of technical and financial aspects of feasibility study, field test, planning study and capital project proposals.

Fabian Papa joins other experts on a panel at the second of a three seminar series titled The Value of Water organized by the Centre for Environment at the University of Toronto.  This particular seminar was titled “Lessons from Abroad and the Homefront: Governance, Technology and Innovation” and Fabian Papa made a presentation on the role of technology and innovation in reducing costs, mitigating risk and helping corporate Canada meet its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) commitments.  The contents of the session will be published in Water Canada.  Future related events can be found here.

Tony Cancelliere rejoins the team at fp&p. Tony brings the combined experiences of land development, municipal infrastructure construction and operations management to expand the firm’s offering with increased value-added services.

Fabian Papa is elected to the Executive Board of the University of Toronto’s Engineering Alumni Association. This position will strengthen the firm’s relationships with the faculty, alumni and student body. Concurrently, Fabian has also been appointed as a consultant to the task force charged with developing a business minor in the undergraduate engineering program.

Robert Filipuzzi, a long time colleague and collaborator with the partners at fp&p joins the organization as a partner. Robert brings 15 years of comprehensive experience in relation to land development and municipal infrastructure systems. Welcome home, Robert.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Brian Bordignon to the firm as a partner. Brian brings over a decade of experience in all aspects of municipal infrastructure construction including international experience. His professional history with Fabian Papa spans almost 20 years where they worked together on tunneling and related projects in northern Italy for an internationally renowned consultancy.

Fabian Papa creates Vatten Infrastructure in order to address the growing trend towards increased private sector participation, such as the use of public-private partnerships, in the delivery of water and wastewater projects and services. Vatten leverages the sector-specific knowledge of the network of fp&p to develop investment opportunities for the capital markets while protecting the public interest.

Fabian Papa & Partners introduces its first partner, Paolo Albanese, to the organization. Paolo holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto (with Honours Standing) and has a diversified background including, in addition to municipal engineering, experience in the structural engineering (telecommunications) and transportation engineering realms.

Fabian Papa & Partners is born and a formal affiliation is simultaneously created with HydraTek & Associates.
